After some research, I went with a Stihl, particularly the model FS 56. This 10.6 lb machine has a 27.2cc engine with a fuel capacity of 11.5 oz and cuts a 16.5 inch swath. It retails for $199.95.It can take up to 3m of the STIHL 2.4 mm orange line in each side. 1. Take 6 m of 2.4 mm nylon line and cut it in half. 2. Press sideways on the indentation in the top casing and open the mowing head. 3. Take the old line and the spool out. 4. Insert the end of the new trimmer line in the eyelet of the spool.STIHL USA
