I'm finding some of the edges of dirt and cliffs a bit hard to work with and can't really think of a good layout for everything :S. I thought the farm layout was pretty self-explanatory. The area in front of the house has room for plenty of crops. The boxed in areas west of the house I used for a barn & coop (north box) and sheds in the south.
