My cousin and me use it and it actually promotes growth but you shouldn't leave oil on longer than 3hrs bcs it can clog pores and cause irritation and even promote the growth of bacteria. Linux Mint is known for being beginner friendly, and the Linux Mint Forums is one of the best on the interwebs. But beginner friendly in no way means it is only for beginners - rather, it is Ubuntu done right. Solid, stable, and well-supported. There are more advanced distros, but IMO Mint gives a much better out of the box experience.
