Not the equalizer but some head units have crossover settings where you can change the frequency going to highs,mids, lows but splits it in different ranges kinda like similar to what an amplifier does but built into the HU settings with eq, bass, surround etc… on idoings site they show it in a thumbnail image for one of the wrx units

If you have starlink with the vehicle you need to remove it from the OEM head unit. It is the thinner black box underneath the OEM stereo. Has two connection ports and three colored single wire connectors. Transfer that Black box to the new headunit.
