Even with new sensors held in my hand right next to my TPMS programming tool triggering them the horn never chirps recognizing the sensor. Suspecting something is wrong with the module itself but have no idea where it's located. Thought it was above the body module in passenger a pillar next to 4x4 control module but it's not.Mar 8, 2018 · New sensor is on the RF, LF tire is now on the RR, put the vehicle in relearn mode (Ign off/on 3 times, hit brake pedal, Ign off/on 3 times) RF new sensor responds to the tool and the vehicle, RR sensor now no longer responds (was on LF)......are you fucking kidding me Ford? SI says that if there is a fault with 1,2 or 3 sensors the B2872 will set , the light will flash for 70 sec then be solid, this is exactly what happens. When viewing the codes of the TPMS module it displays B2872 which is "Tire Pressure Sensor Fault" so I purchased 4 Dorman 974-002 tire pressure sensors thinking that if one is dead, then the rest are probably not far behind. I get the tires broke down no sensors are in the vehicle at all. .
