As long as the operation of the motor is fine, (idle, rpm, etc) then there is no reason to adjust the tabs. just loosen the arm and slide it to the right to contact the timing arm. Secure the screw and you are good to go, just don't over tighten the screw and risk stripping out the threads on the arm.
