Here are a few reasons why that happens: 1) the system that tags the brands is down and just defaults everything to assorted, even if the employee manually types in the brand name. 2) the brand name is not yet officially recognized by the system. If ThredUp really had a bed bug problem, we’d have surely seen more boxes with them pop up. I’ve gotten several items since the issue popped up and everything was fine. You should take precautions with anything you buy, used or new, regardless. So I’d still continue washing/drying/freezing or whatever if it gives you peace of mind.
