thanks I read some of that, I had the p2646 code come up and i fixed that with changing the oil, I know of that issue and have fixed it on 5 elements so its not a big deal to me. A day later I pick up a brand new OEM valve spool assembly from a Honda dealership.Today, we’re going to walk through diagnosing a P2646 code for the VTEC oil pressure switch circuit low voltage in a 2007 Honda CRV with a 2.4-liter engine. First, it’s essential to check the oil level and ensure the oil is clean and at the correct level. Low or dirty oil can cause issues with the VTEC system.VTEC solenoid valve located on rear right of cylinder head next to exhaust manifold and above oil filter. Disconnect VTEC solenoid valve and VTEC oil pressure switch connectors. Remove the three 10 mm hex head bolts from above. Remove the VTEC solenoid valve as a unit.backgournd: 2008 honda element ~150K miles, no other issues or codes, change oil every 5k with specified weight. Current oil level is full and has about 500 miles usage. Check engine light comes on with VSA and exclamation point lights as well. Comes on when transitioning past 3000 rpm.
