Its in pretty decent shape except it doesn't have any spark. The guy i got it from said the cdi box was bad is there any way to test it besides putting a known good on. Doesn't seem like an 07 should have a cdi problem. What else should i check coil, and ...Could a bad decompressor be causing the problem? (The spring is not broken but the groove on the shaft is a bit wallowed by the pin on the decompressor). Is there any way to loosen the chain enough to slip the decompressor off the cam? When you get in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th gear you can give it gas but it will not speed up right away, it will start speeding up slowly and once it gets enough speed it runs fine, or until you change to the next gear. It kinda feels like it is winding up like a fully automatic atv does.

The primary clutch and the crank shaft is mounts on - make sure there is NO LUBRICANT AT ALL. If there is lubricant, then that could be the issue. When I start the ATV I can engage the reverse first (R-light comes on) give it the gas but will not move. After the bleeding, I can go from 5 to 20 miles w/o a problem. The first sign of trouble is a hard shimmy in the front end and then it locks up.
