Road Closures on Belt Parkway. To safely accommodate work, the MTA, in close coordination with NYC DOT, will implement alternate road closures for the weekend of Dec. 8 on the Belt Parkway. Detour routes will be provided. Motorists are strongly encouraged to seek alternative routes across southern Brooklyn — or to use mass transit.
